Spoonman is standing opposite the big Evil Gorilla and wondering if he will in fact be able to beat him and then save his friends ‘Splade Guy' and 'Salad Fork Boy’. This is where some of Spoonman’s self doubt issues come into play. Although he believes he can dance, he is worried that he might possibly not perform to the best of his ability… and lets all not forget the possibility that if he doesn’t complete the routine as exceptional, he could be no more…. All of these fears are overwhelming to a mere Spoon… but u see… Spoonman is phenomenal! … He takes this nervousness and the fears of not being good enough and the possibility of dying… and uses them as power. He is able to create a whirlwind around in (mostly thru his cape) which can only be absorbed through the little angle of metal on his hear which became exposed through the terrible cave incident. The Gorilla sees this and tries to distract Spoonman by jumping in front of him and flashing his V... but unfortunately for him, Spoonman is just too Strong. As Spoonman’s powers become stronger… his cape for some reason diminishes in size (perhaps to give more room for Super Dancing!). And after a short while (about 11.4 seconds) Spoonman finally feels strong enough to be able to dance and beat the gorilla and save his friends.
The competition is just about to begin. The crown is roaring, the stage crew are prepped with both Spoonman’s and the Gorilla’s musical choices and the lights are set to make the mood truly spectacular!!! … The only thing missing was the Umpire. The umpire’s main objective was to alleviate the tension between the two competitors (something similar to a boxing umpire). Along with this alleviating of tension… she was also in charge of making sure no illegal dance moves were used. Although she was not the judge (there were 3 of those sitting in the front row), She was the one who made sure all of the strict rules in the dancing code were taken seriously... and if at any point in time a competitor was to take advantage of any of these... She would halt the competition with a loud stern blow of the whistle, and would give a warning to that competitor. Once 3 warning were received, and then formal charge and the dancing police would come and take them away to the
Whilst waiting for the umpire to arrive, Spoonman walked towards the spot where both he and the Gorilla would take the toss to see who would be the first to compete. As the umpire walked out of the stadium doors, Spoonman was in awe.. .. The umpire was none other than Jenny.
By the time Jenny had reached the spot where both Spoonman and Gorilla were, Spoonman had had time to pick himself up off the floor and was about to ask her how she knew.. but Jenny interrupted Spoonman and said “Spoonman.. I will tell you everything later.. but right now you really have to focus on winning this competition.” … Spoonman knew Jenny was right and agreed to wait and to focus on saving his friends. Jenny then Started as her role as Umpire.. “Right fellas… You know the rules. Let’s Dance!”.. She spoke with such fluency that it was like melting butter on a warm potato. She was perfect to be the Umpire for the Mega Dance Competition! ..
